Clandestine is the second studio album by Swedish death metal band Entombed. It was released on November 12, 1991, in Europe, and on February 11, 1992, in North America. It helped establish a distinctively Swedish sound in the death metal genre. This is the only Entombed album on which original vocalist L.G. Petrov does not appear. Arguably one of the greatest death metal albums of all-time, Entombed's Clandestine, has been given the Full Dynamic Range treatment, allowing the music's nuances to shine through and giving the album a more ferocious, immersive, and dynamic sound than ever before. Entombed were the first extreme metal band to enter the charts in their native Sweden and inspired the term “Death N Roll” with their rock n roll riffs entwined around the demonic death metal vocals. Entombed became an international success, touring the world and eventually signing a major label deal with Columbia Records in the mid 90's. Entombed A.D. still active and tour to this day.
